Commercial property and land along the Central Texas corridor.

I’m Myles Haider, a licensed Texas REALTOR® working the stretch from Lampasas to the Highland Lakes. Commercial sites, business property, and buyer representation — from someone who spent twenty years on the commercial side of a business before he ever wrote a contract on one of them.

Myles Haider, REALTOR®

Why work with me

I came to real estate from the commercial side of a business, not the other way around.

Twenty-plus years with a commercial original equipment manufacturer, running regional aftermarket sales and district service operations. Commercial accounts, multi-party negotiations, and problems that had to get solved on somebody’s schedule other than mine.

My wife and I also own and run a business here in Central Texas, so I’ve been on the tenant’s side of a commercial lease, not just the agent’s. I know what permitting costs you in time, what the wrong location does to a year of revenue, and which expenses nobody mentions until you’re already signing. When you’re looking at a site, that’s what I think about first.

We’re not passing through. This is home, and my name is on the sign in more places than one.

What I do

Commercial first.

Primary focus

Commercial property & business

Highway frontage, retail and service sites, raw commercial ground, and owner-user buildings across the US 183 and US 281 corridors.

The questions that decide whether a site actually works are rarely on the flyer: what the plat allows, where the utilities stop, whether the access point survives a TxDOT review, how much usable acreage the easements take back. Working through those before you’re under contract is the job.

Also

Buyer representation

If you’re buying, I work for you, not for the listing. Commercial on the buy side, plus acreage, ranchettes, and homes across Lampasas and Burnet counties.

We’ll talk water, access, easements, and what the survey actually says — before you fall in love with a view.

Where it sits

The site fronts US 183 about half a mile south of the US 183 / US 281 junction. That junction is what makes the location worth a second look: four corridors leave it. US 183 and US 190 run north toward Lometa, Brownwood, and Fort Worth. US 190 and the future I‑14 run east through Copperas Cove, Killeen, Fort Hood, and Temple to I‑35. US 281 runs southwest through Burnet and Marble Falls to San Antonio. US 183 runs south through Briggs and Leander into Austin.

Looking for something you don’t see here?

A good share of the commercial ground in this corridor never gets posted anywhere. If you tell me what you’re after — frontage, acreage, a use you’re trying to fit — I’ll keep an eye out and call you when something lines up.

Putters & Gutters

4100 N. US Highway 281 · Marble Falls, Texas · 7+ acre entertainment complex

January 2026 Listed

July 2026 Closed

The first sale of my career, and not an easy one to start with. Specialty commercial is a narrow market — you aren’t looking for someone who wants a building, you’re looking for someone who wants that business, in that town, at that size. That’s a short list, and it takes finding rather than waiting.

Areas served

The Central Texas corridor

Every one of these towns has its own market, its own buyers, and its own quirks. Here’s the short version.

  • Lampasas

County seat, US 183 and US 281 frontage, and a steady mix of acreage and in-town homes. Strong pull from Austin buyers looking for room without Hill Country pricing.

  • Burnet

Gateway to the Highland Lakes. Recreational land, weekend properties, and a growing full-time population.

  • Marble Falls

Lake LBJ and Lake Marble Falls. Waterfront, view lots, and the most competitive market in the corridor.

  • Gatesville

Coryell County ag land and small-town homes at some of the best value per acre in the region.

  • Copperas Cove

Fort Cavazos-adjacent. VA-heavy, fast-moving, and tied closely to the rhythm of the post.

“The best thing a REALTOR® can do is tell you the thing you didn’t want to hear, early enough that it still helps.”

Myles Haider
